    "We plan to start testing and certifying products for the first time in compliance with halal norms in small subsidiary farms, shops, cafes. This direction is now growing and in demand. The procedure will only be voluntary," said Artur Mukhutdinov, chairman of the organization.

    The organisation plans to establish a special department in which experts of the food industry with Islamic education will work, in cooperation with the International Center for Halal Standardization and Certification of Russia Muftis Council.

    In addition to issuing certificates, the department will be engaged in auditing enterprises and educational activities.
