According to the general director of Agrosila holding Svetlana Barsukova, certification according to halal standards provides for special quality control of products and careful selection of all necessary raw materials for production. "Each year, the holding's other enterprises produce up to 12,000 tons of products meeting all the requirements of Islam, and plans to further increase the production of this segment, which will meet the demand of consumers in the Russian and international markets," the company's press service informed.
Earlier it was reported that the holding plans to start the production of dry sausages. In March, the production of these products will start on a production scale, the maximum capacity will reach 100 tons per month. In the second half of 2018, it is planned to begin deliveries of these products to Kazakhstan and neighboring countries.
"Agrosila" is an agricultural holding located in Tatarstan. It includes enterprises for growing cereals, poultry meat, sugar and dairy products. The holding has a 9% share in the milk market in Tatarstan, 65% of the poultry market and 51% of the sugar market.
